The Australian Seniors Computer Clubs Association proudly presented the first Queensland forum, organised by its member clubs throughout the state.

The one day forum was an information packed day designed especially for seniors to further their computer knowledge.

About 170 people, mostly seniors from existing clubs or people interested in finding out about computer clubs attended the Forum, held at the Ferny Grove State High School in the northern suburbs of Brisbane.

The Forum was opened by Cr Faith Hopkins from Brisbane City Council. The keynote speaker was Mrs Nan Bosler, OAM - ASCCA's president.

ASCCA is grateful to members of ASCCA's Queensland Forum steering committee, led by Brad Ainge, President of the Pine Rivers Computer Club at Kalangur. Check out ASCCA's Queensland clubs on ASCCA's website.
