For three years, CA (formerly Computer Associates) has offered ASCCA member clubs free CA/VET Anti-Virus software licences for use on club computers. One licence covers 10 workstations. The licences have been distributed to clubs upon request from the ASCCA office. ASCCA has now run out of the 85 licences (each covering 10 machines) offered.
CA is now offering ASCCA member clubs a 40% discount off all new online purchases made from www.ca-store.com.au. This includes CA's third party products such as PC PitStop Optimize and PC PitStop Disk MD.

Easy Computing (Aust) Pty Ltd have created three CD training kits which are ideal for seniors. The series is called Take the Teacher Home. The first series is a six CD home training kit demonstrating - through Windows Media Player - the basics of computing.
The second - published in October 2007 is about the Internet and Email.
The third series was released in July 2008 and is a 4 CD course - Introduction to Vista for Beginners.
