St George Sutherland Legacy

The St George Sutherland branch of Legacy caters for widows of deceased servicemen (Australian and allied). It has set up six computers for the use of its members and they are connected to the internet.
Legacy was established in 1923 by returned servicemen to assist the widows of fallen comrades. Legacy still functions in the same way and widows (now in their 80s) are enrolled on the death of their husband.
We now concentrate on computer clubs to encourage the widows to embrace new technology (using ATMs), keep in touch with their families by email, and to write their memoirs for future generations.
