Club history and features

The Canberra PCUG (PC Users Group) has been part of the Canberra community for over 20 years and was the first Internet Service provider in Canberra. We are one of the larger non-profit community groups here. Our motto is "USERS HELPING USERS".

The group is largely run by volunteers, and we have premises (including training facilities) in Holder ACT. The group provides a range of member-services (information, support and training), and full dial-up or Broadband Internet services to members.

Membership is now in the 900's and not surprisingly there is a high component of seniors.

The Group recently applied for a grant from the ACT government to be spent mainly on updating the training area, and hopefully will be successful with this.

For more information on the group - please see our Web pages at www.pcug.org.au and perhaps download a brochure from

http://www.pcug.org.au/member_info/howtojoin.htm

Our centre is manned from 10am to 2pm seven days per week, and further enquiries are welcomed.
